For website professionals

Become a Vetted Helper

This application is designed to separate the real pros from the pack. Before we'd ever refer a client to you, you'll need to clear a bar that most won't.

Read this first

This is not a quick signup. Our vetting is deliberately demanding, and the majority of applicants do not pass. There's a non-refundable $250 application fee, and being vetted does not guarantee we will ever refer work to you.

If that already sounds like too much, this isn't the right fit — and that's the point. The people who make it through are exactly who our visitors deserve.

Why the bar is this high

When someone comes to us scared that their site is down, hacked, or losing them business, the worst thing we could do is hand them to a stranger who might make it worse or misuse their access. So we don't. Every vetted helper has been screened to a standard that protects the client first.

That means real credentials, real insurance, a clean background, verifiable references, and a documented, password-safe way of working. It's a lot to ask. It should be.

Minimum requirements for USA techs (non-negotiable)

  • Based and legally registered in the United States (this is our U.S. track — based elsewhere? see the section below)
  • 7+ years of professional web / hosting / security experience
  • Hold and maintain at least 3 current, verifiable certifications, including at least one upper-level certification (e.g., CISSP, a major cloud cert, or Cisco CCNP or higher)
  • Professional Liability (E&O) insurance of at least $1,000,000 plus general liability
  • Willingness to pass a criminal background check and be bonded
  • At least 20 verifiable U.S.-based client references, with full contact details, plus recent case studies
  • A written, password-safe incident-response process
  • Agreement to our code of conduct, response-time SLAs, and rework guarantee
  • A $250 non-refundable application fee — the same for everyone, U.S. and international

Exceptional applicants

The bar above is the rule — but not an absolute one. We reserve the right to consider a rare, exceptional applicant who may or may not check every box: someone clearly at the top of their field. When we make an exception, we say so — their listing is labeled "exceptional," with that distinction defined right at the top of their profile, so clients know exactly who they're dealing with.

Helpers outside the USA

The requirements above are our U.S. track. For helpers based outside the United States, thorough vetting is harder and, frankly, deception is more common — so we run a different, conduct-driven program with a stricter ongoing standard:

  • The same $250 non-refundable application fee as the U.S. track.
  • Your listing stays active for as long as you maintain a 9.5 out of 10 score, as provided by the companies who hire you. Fall below it and you're removed.
  • You are responsible for your own billing, directly with clients. We do not bill on your behalf — but we do check to be sure you're fair.
  • We reserve the right to remove any helper who overbills or otherwise abuses website owners — immediately, and without refund.

To apply on this track, complete the form below and enter your country. Some U.S.-specific items (like a U.S. tax ID) won't apply — tell us in the notes and we'll guide you.

The application

Every field is required unless marked optional. Incomplete applications are rejected without review.

A. You & your business

U.S. helpers follow the U.S. track; outside the U.S., the international track applies.

Applicants with fewer than 7 years are not considered.

B. Certifications

You must hold and maintain at least 3 certifications, including at least one upper-level certification (CISSP, a major cloud cert, Cisco CCNP+, etc.). Check every certification you currently hold — we verify all of them.

Every license and certificate carries a verification number. List each one here so we can independently verify it — one per line.

Driver's license or passport — JPG, PNG, WEBP, or PDF, up to 8 MB. Used only to confirm your identity during vetting.

C. Insurance, legal & conduct

D. Track record

Fewer than 20 complete references is an automatic rejection. These must be independent, actual customers who have agreed to be contacted. Heads-up: applications commonly fail here — we check, and references whose company IP addresses overlap with each other or with yours get flagged as fabricated or related, not genuine independent clients.

E. Standards you agree to

F. Application fee

One simple fee: a $250 application fee that applies to everyone, U.S. and international alike. It's non-refundable — it covers the real cost of vetting and is what keeps the applicant pool serious. Don't send anything now — we invoice only after you pass initial screening.

G. How to reach you

By submitting, you confirm every answer is true and verifiable. False or unverifiable answers are an automatic, permanent rejection.
